KC Restaurant Week - What's Still Available?
If you are anything like me, you take procrastinating to the next level. Unfortunately for Restaurant Week, that means we miss out on the hottest tables in KC. Fortunately for you, my favorite game is figuring out how to procrastinate, but still get everything I want! Because I love each and every one of you, I am putting together a list of my top 5 recommendations for restaurant week reservations (that still have a table open!). If you have no idea what Restaurant Week is, start here. If you do, keep reading!
Lazia: I have been dying to try this restaurant since they opened, but for some reason haven't made it yet! From what I hear, literally every single thing is delicious. I am already dreaming of their short rib cannelloni and buttermilk panna cotta, so y'all know what I will be ordering.
Affare: One of my all-time favorite restaurants in Kansas City always pulls out the stops for restaurant week. As far as entrees go, both the almond crusted trout and the pork tenderloin sound amazing and you can't go wrong.
Plate: Another one on my restaurant bucket list! Just checking out the menu and I already know I will order Bushel and A Peck for my entrée -espresso braised chicken with sweet potato gnocchi, I mean…….
Corvino Supper Club: Taking a risk on this one, because the menu hasn't even been uploaded yet. But then again, not really a risk, because I have never had a bad meal here. You should definitely get the burger (no, really!) and the seaweed donuts with trout roe. Best. Thing. I've. Ever. Eaten.
The Homesteader Café: And last, but not least is The Homesteader Café. Truly every single thing on the menu is something I would LOVE. Plus their dinner special is dinner for 2 for $35 - an appetizer to share, an entrée for each, and a dessert to share. Bargain of all bargains.
